In attendance:

Agenda: moved to approve, seconded and unanimously approved
Minutes from the October 21st, 2008 board meeting were approved with no abstentions or nay votes.

Clean-Up:
The upcoming Spring Clean Up was set for May 9th, 2009 from 9 am until 1pm. With some sort of celebration in the church parking lot afterwards. Cori Jacobs will work on setting up the signs for the Clean Up and for GPNA meetings. There was a motion to approve Cori buying the signs. This was seconded and approved.

COMMITTEE REPORTS

Land Use:
Geoff had nothing new to report. Although there are still some outstanding issues re: Fernwood field with respect to getting a copy of the agreement. There is an upcoming ABC's class on Land Use. Albina Fuel project is "dead in the water". Geoff will check with PPR re: building a kiosk in Grant Park, GHS &/or Beverly Cleary school. He will see about grants, costs, permits etc & report at the next meeting.

Treasury:
Merryl gave the report with a $59.32 payout for the Winter party. And also a $12.00 draw for the plastic newsletter bags. The final balance = $4596.58 Merryl did request increasing the reimbursement to GPBC for the newsletter printing. She will discuss this with Greg and report back to the board. She will also check to see if a donation could be made to the GPBC instead.

Grant Park Development:
Liz B. also had nothing new to report. The group will suspend its activity until further notice.

PICS:
Liz A not in attendance, but there's been no activity or issues to report to the GPNA.

Ron Laster will be contacted to talk with Steve Taylor, the neighbor coordinating the agreement re: Fernwood Field neighbors. Ron will discuss adding/deleting GPNA from the Good neighbor agreement.

Future Meetings:
Board: March 17, 2009 and May 19th, 2009
General: February 24th, 2009 and April 21st, 2009

Newsletter:
Katie requested newsletter articles and set due dates for proofing & printing.

General:

Merryl will contact our Police liaison to see about attendance at future meetings.
The agenda was started for the February general meeting.
