Board members:: Michael Kinney; Ron Laster; Elizabeth Beeghly; Richard Larson; Kathy Bang; Mike Heymann; Karen Lewis; Andy Mones
Absent Board members:: KC Davenport; Karen Plemons
General Members:: Cliff Gibbs; Mary Cal Hason; Merryk Mix; Geoff Hyde
Visitor:: Richard Gross (Alameda Neighborhood Assoc member)

At-large candidates nominated seconded and approved: Cliff Gibbs, Mary Cal Hanson, Merryl Mix, Geoff Hyde.
Michael Kinney started meeting with concerns re: CAC meeting on Saturday morning w/ Lloyd Lindley and Grant Park Bowl Project. Michael wanted the GPNA to confirm his and Kathy Bangs role for that meeting.
GPNA's 2 representatives, Kathy & Michael to the CAC (*) are empowered by the board of GNPA to participate, ie vote, contribute, recommend, etc. in drafting a proposal from CAC. Their participation does not necessarily reflect an endorsement by GNPA.

(This statement was adopted unanimously by all 13 board members on 3/16/06)

(*Kathy & Michael were originally appointed to the CAC in order to bring info from the CAC to the GPNA. In order to keep the lines of communication open between the two entities).
Ron wanted to remind all board members that GPNA will need to review any and all drafts before given approval to proceed. Also recommended that at the next meeting establish the following: a process for draft review and recommendations for changes to the draft proposal(s), establish a time line for completion of draft reviews/recommendations, establish ways to outreach and notify community/neighborhood.
Initial draft copy of proposed changes to GPNA Bylaws was distributed to board for their review. Discussion will begin at March 28th board meeting.
