In attendance:

Board Members absent:: Mike Heymann; Andy Mones; Elizabeth Beeghly; Sara Wild

The agenda for the meeting was reviewed and approved by all board members present

Final reading of GPNA bylaws were read, modified and unanimously approved.

October & December minutes were reviewed & unanimously approved.

Treasurer report: assets = $2593.17, Accounts Receivable = $1000.00. Total = $3,593.17

Grant Park Development review: Liz Beeghly unable to attend. Lloyd Lindley also unable to attend. Lloyd shared with Michael Kinney that there had been slight revisions to the plans of GP Bowl. But nothing has been presented to PPS/Parks as of this meeting.

A neighbor voiced concern about how process can be overridden. There's been a recent event where similar situation went on without good neighbor input. Ron mentioned that Liz is staying on top of this project & Parks process. Ron will check w/ Liz who will post info/update re: recent meeting & other pertinent information to GB Bowl project.

-Land Use: No activity to report.

-Grant Park Baptist Church update: the task force has met 3 times. The neighbors concerns include security issues and a good neighbor agreement. There's no resolution at this point. Neighbors need more information/clarification. There will be a neighbors meeting this Sunday 2/26/07. Ann or Hal will contact the "contracting officer" to be involved/notified about the task force in progress. As question was raised that the PPS should have a contracting officer involved in the over site w/ the Ecumenical ministries having the contract to run the school.

The Conditional Use permit land use issue comment period is open until April 18th, 2007. Laurie Wall will be distributing "good neighbor" agreement at next task force meeting.

Hal will be asking the Hollywood Star to retract info re: pellet gun issue. The police report should be available on the website.

MOTION: a motion was made for the GPNA website to have a member of the Task Force contacts information available. The contact person is Ann Corcoran-Briggs. Her email address will be posted on the GPNA website by Katie.

NECN (NE Coalition of neighborhoods) has an upcoming event. This event includes dinner, silent auction and Blazer tickets for the game against the Sacramento Kings w/prime seating. All if the proceeds go to support Youth Gang Programs (YGP). This organization has been active for over 25 years to help youth avoid the pitfalls and draw of gangs.

MOTION: a motion was made for GPNA to purchase a minimum of 4 tickets and a maximum of 8 tickets @ $99.00. Work with businesses to get matching funds to purchase tickets. All in attendance approved, no opposition and no abstentions. If the tickets didn't sell, the names of the neighbors in attendance would be thrown into a hat and chosen at random. (also discussed was giving tickets to the PTA members of Fernwood and/or GHS, but they too are selling tickets).

Safety & livability: Officer Quency Ho unavailable to provide recent crime stats.

Foot Patrol: Michael inquired to all attending if there was any interest in starting a neighborhood foot patrol. No interest at this time.

GP neighborhood Clean Up: Saturday April 21st from 9 am - 12 noon. Age of volunteers was discussed and needs to be reviewed by lawyers/insurance for liability coverage. Recommend no students under 12. All jr. high school volunteers would need a 1:1 student: parent ratio.

Kathy Bang requested $150.00 to help pay for a canopy and signs. Approved.
