The agenda for the meeting was reviewed and approved by all board members present Final reading of GPNA bylaws were read, modified and unanimously approved. October & December minutes were reviewed & unanimously approved. Treasurer report: assets = $2593.17, Accounts Receivable = $1000.00. Total = $3,593.17
Grant Park Development review: Liz Beeghly unable to attend. Lloyd Lindley also unable to attend. Lloyd shared with Michael Kinney that there had been slight revisions to the plans of GP Bowl. But nothing has been presented to PPS/Parks as of this meeting. -Land Use: No activity to report.
-Grant Park Baptist Church update: the task force has met 3 times. The neighbors concerns include security issues and a good neighbor agreement. There's no resolution at this point. Neighbors need more information/clarification. There will be a neighbors meeting this Sunday 2/26/07. Ann or Hal will contact the "contracting officer" to be involved/notified about the task force in progress. As question was raised that the PPS should have a contracting officer involved in the over site w/ the Ecumenical ministries having the contract to run the school.
NECN (NE Coalition of neighborhoods) has an upcoming event. This event includes dinner, silent auction and Blazer tickets for the game against the Sacramento Kings w/prime seating. All if the proceeds go to support Youth Gang Programs (YGP). This organization has been active for over 25 years to help youth avoid the pitfalls and draw of gangs. Safety & livability: Officer Quency Ho unavailable to provide recent crime stats. Foot Patrol: Michael inquired to all attending if there was any interest in starting a neighborhood foot patrol. No interest at this time.
GP neighborhood Clean Up: Saturday April 21st from 9 am - 12 noon. Age of volunteers was discussed and needs to be reviewed by lawyers/insurance for liability coverage. Recommend no students under 12. All jr. high school volunteers would need a 1:1 student: parent ratio. Minutes submitted by Mary Cal Hanson Next Meeting:General Meeting
